{"id":1650,"date":"2019-05-07T15:27:04","date_gmt":"2019-05-07T15:27:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/douglaskurn.co.uk\/blog\/?p=1650"},"modified":"2019-11-21T10:30:56","modified_gmt":"2019-11-21T10:30:56","slug":"only-human-martin-parr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/douglaskurn.co.uk\/blog\/?p=1650","title":{"rendered":"Only Human: Martin Parr"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">I must admit I&#8217;m a massive fan of Magnum photographer <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Martin Parr's photography (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.magnumphotos.com\/photographer\/martin-parr\/\" target=\"_blank\">Martin Parr&#8217;s photography<\/a> and he currently has <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"an exhibition (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.npg.org.uk\/whatson\/only-human-martin-parr\/exhibition\/\" target=\"_blank\">an exhibition<\/a> on at the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"National Portrait Gallery (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.npg.org.uk\" target=\"_blank\">National Portrait Gallery<\/a> (NPG), which is well worth a visit (on until May 27th 2019). The NPG ran a competition to encourage people who have been inspired by his work and one of my entries made it into the top 30 shortlist. It was even <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"used in the PR (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BwcX7ZOHXRo\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link\" target=\"_blank\">used
